If God did exist… then why the waste… I’ll give one example, there is an Octopus that once its eggs are fertilized, it will find a safe spot, stay with its eggs, look after them, keep them worm, it wont leave the eggs, and it looks after them until it starves to death, it gives them the best chance of surviving.. NOW, this octopus has 100,000, that’s one HUNDRED THOUSAND, fertilized eggs, only two are expected to live up to an age where they can reproduce and do so, the rest will be eaten or die some other way…..
This is just one example in nature…
If there is a God, then why on earth would there be so much waste like this?
I dont see the waste…..What would you do when the ocean overflows with Octopi?….>
If each one reproduced 100,000 every year, it wouldnt be long until the ocean would be so full it couldnt sustain itself…..<

Why is that waste? The corpse of the parent feeds the decomposers, and the baby octopi become part of the food chain, not wasted, but used to keep an whole eco systems operating?
I don’t believe in an intelligent designer per se, but your example doesn’t counter that there might be one, either.
As our intelligent designers begin creating bio-machines (genetically engineering bacteria for certain jobs, like pollutant detection), they engineer in a kill switch, so that it can’t reproduce out of control once its job is done. If we can figure that out, surely an omnipotent designer would, too.

They will tell you that it is some part of god’s greater plan and we have too simple of minds to comprehend its complexity.

that is not god’s fault the eggs do not survive
there are many reasons why the eggs do not survive
its only a waste in your eyes and then you try and blame god because of predators and other conditions that cause the deaths.
